Choir

Founded in January 2021 under the musical direction of Syed Umar Ali, Music Composer Joshwa Javaid and narration by Adeel Afzal, The Colony Choir was envisioned as a unique performing-arts-based film and live music project. It brought together over 30 young vocalists and musicians—including male, female, and trans artists—to celebrate community, diversity, and musical collaboration.
Since its inception, the Colony Choir has performed in 20+ shows, building a loyal following through its powerful vocals, moving performances, and innovative musical arrangements. With an aim to perform every quarter, the Choir continues to evolve as a vibrant platform for artistic expression—blending contemporary music with theatrical storytelling in The Colony’s signature immersive style.
